SECURITY

Particular emphasis has been placed on security, with 1 km of 2.5 metre high “power fencing”, i.e. electric fencing to prevent any intrusion, 20 peripheral cameras, a central building gathering all the data and a full lighting system so that you can see at all times without ever disturbing the drivers resting in their cabs. The guarded entrance to the parking area also includes a double entrance for incoming and outgoing trucks.

Each vehicle is photographed and recorded. It is not possible to leave without going back through the double entrance. At this point, the computer compares the exit photos with the entrance photos. If there is any doubt, the gates do not open. Drivers who want to leave the parking area on foot must go through a purpose-built “pedestrian” turnstile and also show proof of identity.

These systems guarantee maximum security for drivers, trucks and their cargoes.

The cameras record all movements 24 hours a day. There is a security post at the single entrance/exit to the parking area. Guards monitor all vehicles entering and leaving. Their presence enhances the daytime level of security. A surveillance service also operates at night.
